Gas Replacement

On 30 April 2019 I contacted Sasol Service Station in Melkbos Strand to ask if they refill AVEDIA gas bottles and was met with unfriendly service to start off with. Was advised that they do supply refills.

I had a 19kg AVEDIA LPG gas bottle replaced. I use gas at home and the previous 19kg AVEDIA bottle lasted me a day short of 5 months. When I replaced the bottle at Sasol Melkbos 30 April, this bottle lasted me 2.5 months. Clearly there is a massive problem. It wasn't filled to capacity.

The slip provided, I tape to the bottle however the print fades away in a matter of weeks, making it difficult to dispute. The bottle was not filled properly and now its my problem. It is clearly obvious that the bottle was not completely filled.

I will not make use of Sasol Gas Replacements from this point forward. I live on a farm and many of us in our community make use of that specific Sasol to replace gas bottles. None of which will be making use of Sasol Melkbos any longer. Please be aware users.
