I have been living in Merrivale now for a few years.. I filled ( I say filled because its been a while) up there regularly and I was well known by tje petrol attendants. One evening in a flurry I forgot my bank card and I jad no money. I had already filled up. Now while I am 100% aware nothing is for free I had to make a plan to get the bank card. Living secibds away from the station I thought they would understand the mistake and let me pip home and be back within a few minutes... Especially since they know me and I have never done this ever...things like this happen. WHAT A CHEEKY MANAGER!!!!! I spoke to the manager and my word was I made to feel like a ******** I had said I would leave all my valuables with them to prove I am not runnibg away and I told him I am aregular customer his attendants know me and I had left my bank card at home. He treated me like a ******** and derived pleasure ot of the situation. Never the less eventually he let me go home to fetcn it. It has been months now I emailed the store to just let then know how rude the gentleman was and that I will mo longer be filling up there. We had been filling up since we mived there and dispite theterribly slack petril attendants wh when we arrive for peteol stand at tjeir little glass room and look at us like they dont know what we are there for. Or they look at eachother as if to say its ypur turn now not mine. We still filled up because it was conveniently on or way to town to school to pmb.this all sound so petty but when a company offers a service as they claim on their website " offering the best service in Merrivale" I am ledt wondering how true this is. Sotoday I thought maybe I was over reacting at my past experiences with this manager. I decided to pop in for a refreshment for my girls having been there a few days earlier seeing a sign for splashes. I was told they didnt have any. Today I go and agin thy have nothing but the sign is up. So I asked the manager if they are out of stock he said we are not selling them anymore so I suggested that perhaps its time for the sign to be taken down he gave me the most intense stare and puffed out through his nose as if he was speaking to a disobedient cjild and said nothing then changed his tune to we might decide to get more maybe nit we will see so I said well maybe you should still take the aign off I was here a few days ago and there was nothing. I then asked if he owend the place or what. He said he was the manager. I said to him you are quite cheecky for a manager to which him and one of jis staff laughed at and I said I would be contacting he owner to complain. I realise whinibg Iver a splash seems so petty and hearing myself say it makes me cringe...but that is not my issue I have mever come across such a rude manager in my life. The customer cannit always be right but tjere is no need for the attitude I was met with by this man and the fact that after emailing them I got no reply regarding the matter erks me. I do beleive my email was filteres by him and never reached the owner. Stating to the world they offer the beat service I would expect them to live up to their claims.

I just wanted to share my story no need for uproar just bad bad bad bad service from a company that claims to offer the best service. I will be sharing my experience to anyone who has ears in merrival and most certainly wil not support this Sasol or any other in future.
