Bad service from sasol head office
I am using Sasol for the last 4 years. I threw in a R1000 of petrol on the 31 of March 2024. My vehicle cutout because of feul tamination. I had the vechile towed to a machanic. Feul was drained and there was water in the feul. We approached the Sasol garage and we fill in a Equipment failure form WE submitted it on the 24. 4. 2024. The fuel was picked up at Sasol garage. No one has contacted us . We were sent and email Case closed and we lost R1000 weath of petrol. I believe that the person working on this case did not do there job we had to pay for repairs and Sasol should have contacted me in Person. This is. Bad service very bad service.

The call was logged under Theo Dehr and he received feedback.
Please see below the conclusion from technical, the call was not just closed feedbcak was provided to Theo and i will resend it to your email.
Conclusion
We are aware of the considerable amount of water that has been detected in the fuel sample taken from
your vehicle (provided by you). But we are unable to determine the origin of the traces of water, nor are
we able to link this significant amount of water to Sasol Central East One.
It should be noted that from our experience and knowledge in the petroleum industry, if there was such
a significant amount of water in the fuel you purchased from Sasol Central East One on the31st of March
2024, it is highly unlikely that the incident would have been an isolated issue as the site was able to sell
about 1500L on ULP 93 on the day in question.
With the information gathered thus far, it is not possible to link the vehicle failure you have experienced
to the fuel you purchased at Sasol Central East One. Therefore, we as Sasol cannot honor your claim.
