Bad Business

I an an entrepreneur reselling a water product known as Alkaline Ionized PH10 water by Designer Water. On the 9 February 2022 I had delivered a small order of water worth R876 to Sasol Hendrick Potgieter in Ruimsig. Upon delivery the store manager by the name of Shuaib Motala who took the order and I invoiced only to be told he cannot make payment at that moment and requested to pay with his account runs at the end of February, of which I agreed.

End of February came and passed and no payment was received. My partner and I attempted to call him a few times but he totally ignored our calls. I then proceeded to reach out to him via whatsapp and requested payment of which he would respond and say accounts department have paid. I continued to follow up with him throughout the month of March messaging him only to be told the same story that accounts has paid and he will check and revert back to me at no avail. Always being told that accounts has paid but not providing me with any confirmation and proof.

I am disappointed and disgusted at the service provided by Shuaib as a manager and of such a reputable business. It makes one wonder how many other suppliers and small businesses do they cheat. For a business that makes hundreds of thousands a week not be able pay a measly R876.
