I am one of the unfortunate investors in Steinhoff Holdings Ltd. Sasfin are my brokers. Sasfin facilitated a class action against Steinhoff and or it’s directors during 2018 on behalf of clients. In this instance Sasfin acted as Agents on behalf of clients. I signed a Power of Attorney on 7 November 2018 appointing Sasfin as my agents. Knowing that this matter is complex and protracted I hadn’t followed up until January 2023 to enquire progress on the legal class action. I submitted an email to Safin stock broking address. I have evidence that the email was delivered and read by 3 separate parties in Sasfin – I received no reply. I think it is reasonable for Sasfin clients to expect updates from time to time.
