Why was my refund payment reversed?

SARS paid refund due to me on the 25 Nov to my bank account and on the same day reversed it. I contacted my bank to check if this is not *****, my banker told me they contacted SARS and they were informed that the money was reversed by SARS as it was paid in error. The amount is the exact refund due to me.

I have been trying to get clarity from SARS by email, no response only automatic email with case number. Thru their call center, the agents cannot see the reversal but can see the payment. They escalate the case still no feedback.
