Waiting 3mths for Returns to be audited?

Good day. I went to SARS office in Paarl 01 Aug to submit my personal returns. I went to stand in the que and waited almost half a day and all my documents was submitted for audit.. I am still waiting for this to be finalized. Can it take so long? I am phoning and follow up since September and my query get escalated accordingly but nothing is happening. I am really very unhappy. I do not hear anything unless I phone SARS call Centre myself. I would like to have this resolved asap.
