VERY UPSET !!!!!

I am just fed up today. How long does a audit at SARS take?

I have submitted my tax returns not after the season for it started. In July SARS received all the necessary documents. After 21 days i have followed up and I was told that they sent it through for an audit. After 90 days I followed up again and was told someone will contact me within 24 hours or 2 working days. And I was waiting patiently. I was never called. below is all my ref no for calls to SARS 332....53 332....58 333....26 334....67 335....22 and today 6/12/2019 338....26. Once again I was told that the matter has been escalated. Someone tried to phone me on 074....... number but i told them they can get hold of me on my alternative number. Funny they were asking for it but did not make use of it. I am really upset and disappointed at SARS. July, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec...Its a lot of months to do an audit hey.
