VAT refunds - delays

Our business is a net exporter and has received vat refunds from SARS on a monthly basis. We are also audited by SARS on a monthly basis, and have become quite efficient in getting the paperwork done. For some reason SARS has stopped doing VAT refunds since March 2021. This places severe cash flow constraint on the business, while the government boasts of trade account surpluses.
