Unprofessional conduct of 1 security guard at SARS office in Horizon, Roodepoort

I am writing to report the unprofessional and disappointing conduct of one of your contract security guards stationed at the entrance of the SARS Roodepoort office. The security guard was unable to provide proper assistance and guidance. Upon my visit to submit my tax return, he instructed me to wait in line for someone to guide me on making an online appointment because they don't allow people to do walk-ins into the center. When I asked for guidance on where to book the appointment on the SARS website, he rudely dismissed me, telling me to wait in line for someone else to help me. Additionally, he prevented me from seeking assistance from the receptionist. Fortunately, another security guard intervened and obtained instructions on making an appointment online from the receptionist. The security guard in question displayed a lack of professionalism and customer service skills. It is concerning that a staff member responsible for guiding and assisting clients lacks the necessary knowledge and attitude. I urge SARS to consider the competence and professionalism of the security staff stationed at their offices. It would greatly enhance the customer experience if staff members were able to provide more effective guidance and assistance to clients.
