Unhappy

I was at SARS Edenvale on Tuesday the 22nd of July to submit returns and sort a query out.

I am very displeased and disappointed with the assistance from the lady who was SUPPOSED to help me!

I stood in the que since just before 6:30 Tuesday morning. Do i want to stand in the que??????NO!!!!

But i did it as a TAX PAYING South African citizen. Everything was fine until i was called to office/counter 4.

I walked into the office, I got looked at like what the hell are you doing here!

Was told....SIT THERE.

I sat down on the chair i was told to sit on, with a computer right in front of my face, and couldn't see the ladies face either, everytime i was spoken to i had to lean to the right to see the lady as the computer was in my way.

I got asked why are you here, you didnt have to bring the papers in, everything is already on the system in an extremely sarcastic manner.

I told the lady i needed help as I am unsure how to do my returns via efiling and wanted to ask questions about the query.

This is where i was told that she doesn't want people to sit here if they dont have to and "you guys"( not sure what was meant by that) don't want to google or youtube(to me that sounds like im lazy).

I then explained to the lady AGAIN i was here for help!! I asked to change a few things on my profile while im here and i was told i can do this on my own at home.

Now if im not mistaken, SARS employees are there to HELP people, are they not? So why do i get treated like im nobody? I pay my taxes and I'm trying to do the right thing, but if you get treated like i was treated, Im sorry but then I wont want to do the right thing. And that is why so many people don't want to stand in ques or see SARS because we get treat like this.

Not everyone has a computer at home or a android phone because not everyone can afford it.

So please SARS, chat to your employees who think they can treat people how they want to and make sure they understand that kindness costs NOTHING!!!!
