two 21 days periods later, still no assistance on my return

I have been following up on my tax return that was initially filled on the 22rd of October 2023. an audit was initiated on it and i supp**** supporting documentation on the same day. however since then I have not received any update and on your online query system it shows that it has not been allocated to an official. i have had this escalated more than once already and also had an official complaint logged, but still no concrete explanation or progress has been received. Over 53 working days have passed since the initial filling that is more than two 21 days period needed by SARS to finalise a return. I would like to get an explanation on the delay and the on finalisation.
