Third escalation- no refund still since submission

Last case number is ********** 80 I have submitted my returns and have since had 3 Escalations on my tax number. I owed sars money and paid them shorlty before submitting my return. Now Sars is investigating why i paid them - do you not have records? If not then i have submitted evidence twice already. I paid what was due, i would appreciate the same. How many times are there going to be escalations? And where is accountability?
