Did my tax return on the app, I had money due to me by SARS. However, I seem to have meddled with the system when trying to edit my data and ended up owing SARS 5x what was actually due to me, at that moment I almost fainted. I immediately booked an online appointment, unfortunately due to covid-19 walk-in appointments aren't possible, therefore I opted for the telephone appointment which I must admit I was skeptic about. To my surprise, the call was made to me on the exact date and time as per booking and I was assisted by Cynthia Lehora, whom at the beginning of our 1st call amongst many other calls that I received from her I believed she wouldn't help me to my satisfaction. Boy oh boy, the lady proved me wrong!!! Because I was panicking all I wanted was for her to fox the error of me owing the institution forgetting that she's dealing with what she's looking at on her system, she requested my documents which I emailed and every time she would call back and acknowledge receiving the documents and talk me through each step. On our last call interaction she had fixed the problem which I caused when editing and on top of that, she had educated me thoroughly about my return as well as what is considered and also what isn't when submitting. At the end of the call, my understanding is now clear and I will paid out by SARS. I just want to thank the lady, even with the condition of working from home she excelled herself in representing SARS.
