Tax returns

i submitted my tax returns online through e-filling beginning of October 2017 and sars is meant to refund, and i know for sure that i have been paying more tax, i have submitted all documents requested and i have been calling sars every now and again being told different stories and up until now i haven't received my refund i don't know if this is the way sars rewards loyal tax payers, the time is way overdue i dont know what kind of audit takes 5months
