Tax return not received yet documents submitted

I ***)have set a number of appointments with SARS, to submit documents for years that are more the the 5 yrs prescription period. The 1st was for 2010, which I ended up submitting after week of my bookings getting cancelled by what I’m told is their system. (***) was the reference I ended using to submit those returns for 2010. I received sms stipulating the amount and date that the returns will be paid by however. After 6 days I received correspondence to now submit returns for 2016. When the ones for 2010 were submitted it was the system that sent a SMS and verified that all was good to go, yet now there is correspondence to the effects of returns for 2016. The system that is used by SARS as an entity seems to be a DOS system and his not efficient or effective at all. The same system doesn’t now allow for bookings to be made to submit or speak to a constant and one has to spend literally more than half a day in queues to make these submissions yet once made the system may require you to submit documents or returns for another financial year which the system had said that there were in order. Seemingly the system is not a smart and efficient system that makes it easy to assist tax payers at one go. Tax payers has to make multiple trips to SARS when these correspondences are received by a tax payer that the system did not initially pocked up. Or requested. I’m gatvol SARS is now seemingly worse than Home Affairs on many expects. 🤦🏽♂️
