Tax Return

Some time in July, i went to the SARS branch in Dube to sumbit my tax returns. I took with me all the documentation required for this submission process. I was told there is an amount that is due to me from SARS. 2 days letter , i got an email notifying me that i had been selected for Audit and and had to re-submit the same documents again. I took time off and did as requested. i followed up again with SARS only to be told there is a stopper on my account and i had to resubmit the documents at a sars branch yet again. I re submited the documents for the 3rd time on the 30th of Aug 2016. I was informed my payment will be done as soon as i submit these documents. A fews days latter, i called SARS again and now the turnaround time was 21 days. 21 days later, nothing has been done and i followed up only to be told there is no turnaround, instead my documents were only sent through to the department that removes the stopper on the 19th of septmber. i called again and now im told my bank statement that i have submitted 3 times is missing and they can only work with what they see on the system. I have spoken to the Manager Ronel Phillips who tells me there is nothing that she can do about it, she basically cant help me. My concern is if the Manager is not in a position to identify a gap in the process and try and rectify then who will. So far , all the times i have called , i have spoken to different people who have told me different things and i still havent received any help at all. The service that i have received is beyong unbelivable and i am wondering how many other people are receiving such **** service from a big organisatuion as SARS. I called the complaints office only to be told there is also nothing they can do about it. So here i am, the consultants cant help me, Complaints officers are unable to assist, the Manager cannot help me... and i am wondering.. WHO CAN????????????

Your service and processes need to be re evaluated to say the least

Unhappy tax payer
