Tax refund process is draining

I have filed my returns in July even now I did not receive it. My status still on banking details verification. Last week I spoke with SARS Representative and I was told that they will update by end of business even today status still the same. I request a call everyday and they tell me about escalations but nothing is happening. Am I going to get the refund or I must just give up!!!!!
