Tax refund not being paid

I would like to lay a complaint against sars. This has been by far the worst tax return year submission I have ever experienced. My tax return was submitted in July by my tax consultant Dawid Louw, only mid August they decide that my account needed to be audited and I needed to submit documents. I went to sars and submitted the documents and they told me the audit had a turnaround time of 21 days, so I waited. I have been ever since calling the sars offices and being kept on hold for minutes on end, considering that I am unemployed.

I spoke to quite an uninterested consultant by the name of Nonhlanhla Ndlovu who immediately reffered my call to her "manager" Sello without me requesting the transfer. The manager told me sars has no turnaround times for verification documents even after I told him I had submitted the documents requested almost a month before.

I accepted this and he provided me with his email address of which I have emailed but no response was received so I called sars last week Thursday and that consultant told me they would call me back in 2 days - no call was made. I called sars again today and the consultant says that there is a lock on my account that is preventing the funds from being paid, no date or at the very least an estimate as to when it will be lifted she just left it at that.

I have been watching the news and even though my refund isnt much but does sars actually have the money to pay the people it owes and are just using their useless turn around times as an excuse to delay payments?

I have worked in the customer service industry and I know very, very well that this is just atrocious, terribly horrible service and the lack of accountability is appalling. I need someone to contact me asap on ********** 262 and tell me what on earth is delaying my refund because I am entitled to this money and I have been a loyal tax payer for as long as I have known. And can I be contacted by a competent person that can at least tell a believable lie. My tax number is **********
