TAX REFUND DELAYED - SARS SAY IT CAN TAKE A YEAR

I am very shocked at the turn around time for the tax returns. I was chosen to be audited (which i don't mind) but if SARS says that it will be 30 working days. Then it should be 30 working days. Now I am told that the staff member working on it can take his/her time and there is no time frame of when I can get my return finalized. I was told there is no time frame at all now that the audit has moved to a manual department. So? It can take up to one year? Shocking service!! I have always held the SARS dept in such high regard, I always told people that SARS was amazing but I have been dissapointed so badly that it would take a miracle to change my mind. I NEED my payment to be made before the 3rd Feb 2016 to change my thoughts on the staff of SARS. Is this possible to achieve? I truly hope so.
