Tax Payment done by SARS

We handed in our tax papers and the my husband was put under audit that's all good and fine but the story comes in like this he handed it in on the 07 July 2017 then your waiting period is 30 days which was on the 18 August 2017 the we started calling SARS to ask what is going on and all they say is "YOU MUST WAIT" then I told my husband phone the complaint department and then he did so and then the answer is " THE PROBLEM IS ON OUR SIDE EVERYONE IS COMPLAINING" but that's it nothing more we must just wait..... So now I want to know what happens if we tell SARS to wait we as the public will be locked up and that's it but nothing happens to SARS if they do not pay out on the 30th day.... We are at day 42 and still NO payment or sms or call to say sorry or tell us what is going on with the payment.....
