Tax payers are treated with no respect.

I submitted my doucuments on the 22nd of July for verification. It has still not been done. I filed a complaint and the complaint has not been attended to. I pay 25% tax monthly because I locum and it is extremely unfair and appaling that it has been more than a month and I have not received my tax refund or that my verification process is done. Is this how South-African tax payers are treated?
