Tax number, Catch 22.

I need to find my tax number. Been out of the country for a few years, and have not worked in SA since returning, but i worked in SA for more than 30 years, so SARS must have records of me and my tax number. So I went online to fill in a query, asking for my tax number, and I could not submit it, as I did not have a tax number. Catch22
