Stupid eFiling system

eFiling is supposed to be easy and user friendly but is extremely confusing and difficult.

Due to a fault on eFiling I was charged interest and given a fine on a payment they erroneously regarded as being late. After they corrected their mistake I am trying to get the charges for the last seven months without success.

They also have a very stupid system in that they cannot send one an email with the relevant details, they send you an email that you have to log in to read the email. Why cant they send the details in the first place?

After battling with eFiling I sent an email to SARS to get assistance. An email came back with a reference number and the request to phone them which I did. I was then asked for the reference number and my ID after which I slammed the phone down. Why cant they like all other companies answer a query with a simple email without frustrating one by expecting one to call them an answering all the stupid questions. After given the reference number they surely has all the info that they need.
