SHOCKING TREATMENT FROM SARS

I have been a registered tax payer since about 1990. My banking details have never changed in all that time. My ID had a change to the last few digits in 1986 as did the whole country. After being a regular tax payer for 30 years SARS has now decided that my ID number is not valid (even though every single official record in south africa including the banks have made the automatic change). They have decided that I need to go in to verify that I am who I say I am after making me jump through 100 hoops of sending my id with a picture of me holding a letter that they sent me. In addition, they have taken months to access some of my older tax after not allowing my travel claim. Why are they doing this, well the answer is simple. Since they can't tax ***** ANC officials and their crony mates who ***** billions from the fiscus each year they have decided they will try and squeeze ACTUAL tax paying customers for more money. The ID thing is a SARS **** to try and avoiding paying me money they owe me and the travel claim things is something I am happy to see them in court over. They supposedly have 60 days to finalise these queries but never do things in the time they are supposed to. SARS is beyond useless and since the new management took over have got worse!!!!
