SARS will do anything to bleed honest SA folk dry.

I submitted my returns via efiling for 2018 on the 3 July. after short wait i was asked to submitted my documents and realized I had incorrectly completed the vehicle deductions portion. i was asked to resubmit, bu this time i went to SARS in person to avoid this issue. the lady was kind enough and corrected everything for me and submitted.

i was asked for further docs, which i supp**** at the sars office again. the funny is the people at the office could not see why i was asked to submitted the documents again, as they could make out the issue point out in the request. Fast forward 6 month and i am calling sars weekly for an update on my objection, only to be told to wait. it now a full year and some month only to find i now have a tax bill of R28k. because of the initial entry.

now, while i agree the initial entry was incorrect, how many time does one have to submit a correction before the issue is resolved. i honestly don't know how this can now be resolved, as the people at the local sars office say it was done on their end and i cant get anyone from jo'burg to call me to sort out this issue. advice anyone?
