SARS - where yout tax definitely doesn't matter!

I work for a tax practice, and have been for the past 5 years. I thought the processes and barriers to entry at SARS would get easier... we'll, I had a rude awakening. SARS still claim on their IVR intro when you call the call centre (for which you would need a saint's patience to attempt in the first place), that the long queue and the terrible quality of the calls are due to the Covid19 pandemic... get real SARS, the pandemic can't be used as a tool to excuse your lack of professionalism and ability to service the citizens that are working to assist you in "perfecting" your tax collection model. I probably sit in the phone holding for calls that don't get answered in time, calls being cut off, the disgusting call quality, where we can't hear anything. You supposedly offer a call back service... ek not for the last 6 weeks. In case you didn't realise it SARS, it's tax season and you've brought the deadline forward by a month... so instead of you providing us with the tools we need to meet your targets, I'm ending up spending half my week holding on for calls which never get answered. The attitude and service from call centre agents is getting remarkably worse... if they can't answer a question (which most of then can't, they just put the phone down). And in case you were wondering, the 8000 case numbers that haven't even received any attention, are all mine from September. If I have to hear 21 working days ever again, it'll be too soon.
