SARS Tax Refund Delay Tactics

I am somewhat convinced SARS does not have money to pay out its tax refunds, of all the people I communicate with only 1 in 5 people have been paid out by SARS!<br> Last year my e-filing process took a day and I was paid out 3 days later, this year I submitted my documents on the 1/07/2015 I then received a notice of assessment the same day with a letter in my e-filing account which requests more documents. I forgot to add my vehicle tax form so I assumed thats what they were looking for and uploaded it 14 days later i recieved the same letter which is a templated letter covering a broad spectrum of documents required to complete the refund. So I called SARS and they said I needed a daily log book instead of a monthly one. I then went to SARS & delivered the daily log book in person this took over 3 hours at the Durban North branch.<br> SARS then called and said they looking for a daily log book I told them I just delivered it to their branch then notified me that they can see it now and will process my claim <br> 2 Weeks later & I called SARS to find out what is going on. They then told me it can take another 30 days to process now 30 days later i call and they say it can take up to a year!!!
