SARs takes 5months to verify an account they are already taking money from.

My return was finalised in July,got selected for audit,did not take long and there were no changes afterwards but my banking details had to be verified,I have been submitting ever since.

As I write this I still have not received my refund because they need to verify the same bank account they keep deducting my tax contributions from.
