SARS Strongarming individuals on no grounds: To make more money from us.

People, it is very obvious that SARS is looking under every little stone for money. There are people that must eat... They are using their position of what they believe to be omnipotence, to strongarm individuals into paying penalties. Even though these penalties have been raised on baseless grounds. As an example: They suddenly request TAX Submissions for the periods so long ago and where they are very aware very few people would have copies of said documents. To put further insult to injury, and just to show Joe Public who is boss, they then refuse to refund those people any monies they are legally due siting as the reason for the "non-submission" of those returns from 15 and more years ago. Try and get someone at SARS to listen to you... There is just no way. The junior SARS people have obviously been told to stonewall as much as possible. And more. That is now when you do get past the pathetic service and you do get hold of someone to listen to you. Unless people start standing together, this pathetic government will just keep on walking over us.
