I submitted my return on the 27th July via efiling and received notification that it has been processed. I waited for the funds to be paid and nothing happened - I then called the call centre and was advised that I have been put on a STOPPER. The consultant didnt know as to what I needed to do and said I should go into the branch. Went to the branch and the consultant there just took my ID number...clackered away at the computer, stepped out, came back, stepped out again and then came back again, she then advised me of this STOPPER process which is new and need to bring in my IRP5, certificates submitted, banking details and POA. Went back the following day with the information - the consultant took the envelope with all the documents and only took bank details, POA and ID copy. He too clackered away, stepped out with the documents and came back with them, a few minutes later another guy came in signed something on a register looked at the documents and said thank you. Nothing was asked or said to me about the STOPPER, the documents they took/scanned or how long it will now take for their process.

I called the following day and only to be advised that I must now go back to SARS as they need the other documents thier consultant didnt take, of which I had printed!!!

Netheless to say, I found myself back at SARS with the documents to submit again, was advised I'm still missing all the documents as I need to print each and everything submitted on my return. So I had to go back again!!!

No one has explained as to what they are verifying as bank details submitted on my communications from efiling it says I'm not under an audit nor any specific anti ***** verifications - So why am I still waiting for my return to be paid to me?!?!?

No one seems to know how long or what they STOPPER is supposed to take - have submitted over 15 days ago with requested docs.....why am I still having to call on you SARS!!!

My case numbers are lining up on my side yet with no resolution.
