SARS Special Stopper- Help

<p>I did my income tax returns 3 months ago and I was told after filling the retrurns that a special stopper was placed on my profile and that I had to go back to the branch and verify my banking details before they can refund my "money back'" and I did that and was told the special stopper will be removed and my 16k ZAR income tax refund will paid out once removed. I then asked what the turn-around time is and they agaents confirmed that 21 days and if it's not refunded I should follow-up with my case number. I have since done that but my refund has not been paid after following-up multiple time and to this day it hasn't been paid out yet...I have lodged a complaint with them but no-one has followed-up & I'm frastrated at why is SARS doing this and starting to wonder if they are out-of-funds to pay-out. I'm really disapointed at this country rate of services from government entities.</p>
