sars shambles

To whom it may concern

I had, and ever since had the luxury of submitting my tax returns on the e filing site, but after my recent experience I serve the right to forfeit my refund and contemplate never submitting again.

after submitting online I was prompted by sms to verify my banking details at the nearest sars branch-gladly went to the branch with my proof of banking,only to find out after waiting 3 HOURS in the queue, I needed proof of residence (yet the sms I received never prompted for that), after much frustration, I left and got proof of my rental statement, which bear in mind is in my name, I then proceeded to the same sars branch, waited in the queue again, when it was my turn I was the told they wont assist me because they don't accept a rental statement, they now want a lease agreement,(so after half my day wasted up and down I still had no satisfaction with this incompetence organisation i then called sars to see if there is a convenient way of resolving this-(ref number ********** 75) no was the answer, I still need to go back and deal with the same lack of professionalism, and the the agent tells me, the refund is my rightful right,yes AND I AM BEIMG DENIED THAT RIGHTFUL RIGHT by the orhanisation.

so I right this to highlight of my dissatisfaction and left questioning myself if e filing is woth it

I don't expect my issue to be resolved, cause the I will be disappointed, but I expect sars to do what they have been doing, and that is to disappoint me.

at least the I wont feel let down.
