SARS Rudeness

About 30 mins ago I accompanied my wife to SARS office in East London to sort out her income tax. One of the ushers approached me and chased me out of the building. I told him that I am accompanying my wife for her tax affairs. Was told that I have nothing to do there and that I must leave. I find this highly unappropriate and rude. Since when may a husband not accompany his wife. As a matter of fact I find it highly irregular
