SARS REFUND NOT PAID YET... APPARENTLY MY 2018 REFUND WAS SHORT PAID???

8 MONTHS AND AWAITING FEEDBACK ON AN AUDIT AND NO PAYMENT.. WHAT IS SO COMPLICATED ABOUT AN AUDIT. HOW MANY MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE YOU PAYING BACK INCORRECTLY.. SARS REFUNDS.. MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR REFUND HARD WORKING HONEST TAX PAYING PEOPLE.

I am so tired of explaining this over and over and over again. It was my 1st time doing SARS Efiling last year in July. I mistakenly captured the incorrect year which was 2018 when submitting my 2019 return via Efiling. I did then call the call center and spoke to a gentleman who helped me submit the correct year 2019 and advised that I send documents and an affidavit to SARS to say I incorrectly submitted 2018 AGAIN WHICH WAS DONE IN 2018 AT SARS ALBERTON.

To my surprise I received part payment for my 2019 submission and I call the call center back and they advised that 2018 is under audit because apparently I was being owed money from 2018 by SARS, which could mean that my 2018 refund was calculated incorrectly and I was short paid.

But now what is annoying me is that its almost 8 months and I still am waiting and waiting and waiting for my the balance of my refund from 2019 and the outcome of the audit from 2018.

These are small amounts and shouldn't be hard to audit... Makes me wonder if my 2018 refund was short paid then how many other years submitted was calculated incorrectly and how many other innocent people are you doing this to that don't even know that SARS IS REFUNDING IN CORRECTLY after all we all are hard working people and pay our TAX ON TIME.

It would be outrageous to get a billion audits if people knew about this. ***
