SARS refund delaying tactics

I received a sms and email from SARS last week Wednesday stating that my audit had been finalised. i called SARS on Friday to find out when my refund would be paid out, i was informed that i would receive the refund over the weekend or latest Monday, which is today. When i called in today i was informed that i needed to go into SARS offices to submit my id, bank statement and proof of address as i needed to verify all these details before the refund could be processed. i was never informed of any of this, so if i had not called in when was i going to be informed of this? when i was told that everything was in order and the refund had already been processed. everyone at SARS always has a different story as to how SARS operate, when i was selected for audit it stated that an audit takes days, but when i went into SARS offices the lady that assisted me told me that an audit takes days. can you please train your staff accordingly and make sure that everyone is on the same page.
