SARS Nightmare service

Dealing with SARS is always hell but my recent experience is by far the worst, I give up on this institution. I am prepared to go to jail for not paying any taxes after this nightmare. In July I requested SARS to change the representative of my business back to myself as I did not need a tax practitioner anymore. With that began a a confusing process of conflicting information and systems containing information about the same organization that does not match. I was told I had to wait 21 working days to have the representative updated, during this period you have zero access to your taxes, can't file, can't update, can't do anything. At the end of the 21 days I got an email notifying that the change was approved however when logging in efiling I discovered that nothing has changed. I contacted SARS again, went through the process again, I was told I have to activate myself as representative, which I couldn't as this option was not available on efiling. I was told the matter would be escalated and now I have to wait another 21 working days. ****** nonsense if you ask me. I'm done. not doing this ever.
