SARS is quick to take money - but slow to pay.

My wife have closed her bank account and are using my account for her salary as well as all her payments. This has been communicated to SARS first by me (because she is ill) then by me with a power of attorney from her, then by her, then by her with proof of residence, marriage certificate, proof of account details etc. All in person because this could not according to SARS be done via the phone or email. Each time we wait in line for hours... Finally SARS responded only via snail mail about 2 weeks later with a letter stating that the original marriage certificate is not good enough but they in fact need a certified copy of the same... for a freaking bank account?? No wonder the country is in financial trouble - all the workers are hanging about the SARS offices all day for silly hogwash reasons - it is time SARS wake up and smell the coffee...
