Sars is not delivering on promises

I submitted my outstanding documents to Sars 31 days. Since the submission, I have been getting regular reminders about a 21 days' waiting period, and now that the 21 days have come and gone, Sars still hasn't changed their tune. Why, Sars, is it easier for you to penalise me, but you struggle to give me a long overdue refund that is due to me? Why did I have to wait 21 days, when this used to be achieved overnight in the not so distant past?

Reviewer Update
After emailing Sars my enquiry, 32 days after my visit (by appointment) to their establishment; I'm now being told my banking details are 'invalid', hence my refund couldn't be processed. How can my details still be invalid, after direct contact with a Sars official who checked everything? Sars needs to be honest with us, they want to keep our hard earned cash to themselves. Period. Why did I have to remind them 10 days after their stipulated 21 days in the first place, if they are genuinely committed to the clientele they serve?
