SARS is hopeless when it comes to customer service
All i want to do is submit my annual returns for my organisation. I called the help line for assistance and was given a reference number: *** and promised to have someone call me within 21 days.<br> When Yaya Bhengu did call some days later i happened to be in a meeting so i agreed with him that he would call back the next day anytime between 10h30 and 16h00. This didnt seem to be an issue with him at all. Next day comes and Yaya does not call. he phones back in the next week (25th Jan) but finds me in training at the time. His excuse for not calling is that he was busy with another client which is unacceptible as he had confirmed arrangements with me. He refuses to accept the next proposed timeslot and asks me to call the call center again. Clearly that cannot be satifactory as that is the same call center that could not help me the first time. I think its very unfair that we are expected to meet our deadlines for returns every year and yet SARS cannot meet a simple request from someone who is trying to do the submission.
