SARS is determined not to pay money due to tax payer and their behaviour is entirely *********

SARS have deteriorated into an infuriating machine designed to badger regular tax paying citizens out of existence. I have been going through a continuous loop with these guys. On my personal tax, they have owed me money for over two years now and spend every waking moment trying to find ways not to pay. If it is not having to prove that you are the person you say you are via for ID, or having to recertify your banking details in a continuous loop then they are trying to find other ways to not pay. Their recent lost court case is only the tip of the iceberg in this *********** and arrogant organisation. If they spent half as much time badgering PEOPLE WHO DONT PAY TAX as they do on people who DO PAY TAX the whole country would be in a much better place. On the business front I must have had about 30 sms's asking for VAT returns on periods that I DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT. My business submits VAT returns every two months and now we have some ***** running around randomly asking us for the months in between. I plan to leave SA as a direct result of SARS sinking further and further into a ces****l of mediocrity. I haven't seen a single gangster, ******* tobacco and booze company, Taxi owners, politicians and friends of politicians being harassed but try and claim money back from SARS and you are on a roller coaster to hell! Greener pastures await.
