SARS GARNISHEEING PENSIONS

SARS is now garnisheeing Government Pensions. Is this legal? SARS deducted R2664 on 30 September off my already pathetic pension in spite of a payment for the amount owed to them less R633 on the 12 September. It seems this has happened to many government employees as their help line was inaccessible on 30/9.
