SARS Dispute - Wrong status of Body Corporate

We are part of a body corporate complex consisting of 9 units.

In 2004 we were mistakenly registered by SARS as a company instead of being registered as a Body Corporate. The body corporate's only income is the monthly levies

SARS taxed the body corporate as if we were a company. According to SARS there is a substantial amount payable to SARS for company Tax.

A lot of time and effort was made from our body corporate which includes more than 30 visits to different SARS branches, lots of telephone conversations and e-mails over the years without any success.

Up to now we are unable to get SARS to change our status from company to a body corporate (the process thus far has not had any success in 15 years). We really need a solution. We consider to take the matter to the commissioner should we not get assistance soon. We have all the documents, contact persons and case numbers as proof, we just need someone with authority to change our status.

We are sure there must be someone who will be able to assist us?
