SARS **************** with the help of government

I went into a SARS branch case number ***, tax number ***. I went in to ask for help because I can not pay for the SARS debt. I’ve been to the branch every year since I started working. I got employed in January 2013 and never got payed for January 2013 and February 2013 the only paid me in March 2013 and deducted the tax. The 2014 tax season I was also charged for January and February 2013. I alerted them of this every year and they never fixed it. They sent me to the college the college then sends me to SARS saying there’s nothing they can do, now I’m stuck with the debt. What must I do now, I got a letter of demand where am I supposed to get the money? I did not ask the employer to take so long to pay me and their systems don’t work properly. I am a single parent of a high school going teenager in a few paying school and a special needs 5 year old who goes to an ECD center near work. She needs sign language classes which cost R300 a session. I have worked for the government for more than ten years. I have no house because I don’t qualify for an RDP the housing allowance is so little because they keep for themselves. It is ****************. When I look at the amounts it looks like I was working for the government for free, because they don’t only charge tax for that they also tax the SNT which is supposed to be tax free. I ask for my tax situation every year and I never get help. Today I went in again and I was told I need to pay R1852 before they can see me, where am I supposed to get that money when I am struggling already. When I get paid I pay for everything and I am left with nothing after that. My employer has not paid an increase for the past three years but we are supposed to service the debt that the *******ly put on your name. I am a teacher who has to provide sanitary pad to the kids in need so that they don’t miss school with no increase yet I’m supposed to pay this money. This feels like we are jokes when it comes to the president cause he can increase his salary but the ground staff nothing. In essence in South Africa you are better off not working cause you get a free house grant for all your kids plus R350 grant from government, when you are an honest working citizen you are lashed for it. I am at a loss for words
