SARS Consultants are rude narcissists that shouldn't be allowed to speak to the public. SARS is an agency doesnt live up to its published standards

While on the phone with a SARS consultant on the 10th of February 2026 at 8:35am, CASE no ***, the rude consultant didn't listen to what I was saying and she with this rude, "you are so stupid, duh" attitude told me what I need to do, when I was saying that I have been doing what she just said I should do. Then she muted her mic, placed me on hold for 2 hours and I was talking to myself. I didn't hang up which is what she wanted me to do. The calls are recorded and if you are serious about "Quality assurance," you need to give that consultant a warning.

The SARS system is failing. I have been waiting for my profile to be updated since 21 June 2025. I have called numerous times, always given the runaround, no one giving the correct answer. When all there needs to be done is for someone to get off their butts, open the case *** and verify the documents that need to be verified. They were uploaded in 2025. So much for the "21 days" policy.

My VAT Deriegistration that was filed in October 2022, again in 2024 and again in December 2025, is still pending. Im sitting with a noncompliant status, accumulating admin penalities when all that needs to be done is for someone to get off their butts and do thier job.

Then they hide behind, "It doesnt appear on our end" yet the efling profile says otherwise.

Fix your system, train your consultanta, get off your butts and do your job. Dont tell me about the "volume of callers and queries," when I have been waiting in line since 2022
