I submitted my Tax Returns in 2016 after I was Retrenched in 2016-02-29 the company app**** for a Tax Directive in order for my package to be Exempted and not taxed, it became a rejected return due to that I am owing them R2914.44 and the reason was that they have under taxed me, How? I was informed that they did not receive my Tax Certificate from the Employer/Administrator but yet they have the Directive number. Where did they get that from? I have been in and out of SARS since 28 July 2017 until now, I have been disputing and objecting these penalties for the whole year, the package increased my PAYE therefore it seemed as if I was under taxed and SARS has categorized the package under Income tax whereby it is not , I have provided them with all the necessary documents they have required and still the matter has not reached a conclusion, every agent that is assisting with this case has their own discretion, they cannot provide the correct calculations and the answer how did it get to that amount, others are saying its my pension fund that app**** an incorrect source code 3915 it is supposed to be 3901 after my research 3915/3901 fall under the same umbrella, and the pension fund also app**** for Tax Directive for the cash lump sum to be Exempted, others are saying I was paid an allowance of which amounted to R1335 for the total period of 2016 but the arrears are more how surprising, that amount was a fringe benefit code 3801 from the company, so really they do not know why I am owing them that is why each and everyone of them is giving me a different explanation towards this case. I am so sick of them. Someone in there does not know how to do their job. I have submitted my returns for 2017 and the money I was supposed to receive was cancelled because of those arrears. I want this case solved but I do not know who is going to assist me, my Employer and the Pension Fund have provided all the necessary documents that SARS has required from them and I submitted. I was Taxed every month they are owing me and not the other way around. I need assistance please!
