Returns/Directive

Good day

This review is for both Santam and SARS. I will create same reviews on both companies.

I am struggling to complete my returns because I have a directive which is issued to Santam by SARS. However, when I call both companies for assistance I never get joy, because SARS would send me back to Santam and vice versa. I spend time calling back and forth and even driving to the SARS offices. Yet neither one of companies want to assist with a way forward.

I am a tax payer I have no knowledge of other technical stuff that I required on the system. Now an administrative penalty is imposed on me.

SARS instructed me to tell Santam to reconcile due to the lampsum paid out. According to SARS the date of accrual is 2022-02-28 as such Santam needs to reconcile on their side and also include the directive number.

I contact Santam they say they made out a payment in May 2022, as such I should upload the IRP5 myself.

But neither SARS nor I have an option to do that.

So I am asking one of this companies must come through for me. This back and forth is time consuming there is no way that both can’t have a solution.
