Refund/statement request

My brother has been in and out of SARS submitted a tax return.

He is currently at SARS but he is getting no help at all. They requested for an email address that they can send a statement to that was like 2 weeks ago, to date no email received. he putted my email address on because he does not have access. Even now he is asking me to do the inquiry as he does not have access.

He would like his statement to check if any monies were paid as he has submitted the returns in August already no refund received to date.

What does it take for one to get atleast a statement if no refund?
