refund of vat money

I am writing on behalf of Eloff Plant Hire cc,last year june we purchased an excavator and were to be refunded by SARS in June 2015. June came and went and when we inquired about the money we were told that it was put into an unknow account , when on further investigation was an account that we had closed many years ago and Standard Bank gave this account to a Black man and the vat money that was for us was paid to him.Nice Hey! After our book keeper informed them that they had made a big mistake they took the funds from the person they paid it to. We then had to go to the SARS office in person with a letter from the bank stating our banking details plus statements and id, we were then told that we would be paid shorty, it has now been 4 months and still no payment has been made. When we inquire about the payment we are told IT IS IN PROSSESS! This is not right and we are dependent on that money, some where in that office building there is someone who is not doing their job. I want my money thats it. As a company we pay VAT every two months no questions asked and if you dont pay interest gets added how unfair is that, i want interest add to the amount.Please Help Us!
