Refund not received - Suspected ******** Behaviour

My wife and I completed our taxes as soon as the 2020 season opened. We changed our banking details and after struggling numerous times we eventually got confirmation of up to date banking details; this took a month to get confirmed by th way which is **** poor by the way.

We have been waiting for 2 months for our refunds but nothing has happened. Apart from that I noticed on my SOA that and electronic refund and reversal was done on the same day, 4 September 2020. Apart from this suspicious activity I have also noticed that my account is also showing in the current segment instead of 60 days where it should be now.

I have spokene to a SARS agent and was told to wait 30 days due to covid. This was 2 months ago. Everywhere I have done research, SARS states 7 days refund payout after all is clear.

I have paid my taxes loyally for 15 years and have never had issues.

This is unacceptable behaviour when we are urged to pay and file our taxes or face the consequences.

I feel SARS is ********* and acting n bad faith.

If they cannot afford to refund us, don't leave us in the dark and be upfront about it.

Otherwise fullfill your obligations and refund my wife and myself.
